I’ve decided to look at the reasons my final failed, find out how to fix them, and attempt to go through the process correctly, though with much more time to do so. Since I don’t have Redshift or any Adobe programs at my home computer I cannot make the complete animation and am forced to use Arnold, which runs poorly with my computer. Anyways this is what I’ve done so far in remaking everything. I’ve always been bad at texturing and had to use 3D paint to make this texture, but it works enough to show what I’m generally going for.

Yeah I spent about way too much of my time trying to figure out what would and what wouldn’t work, only to end up then getting stuck on texturing cause I really am just bad at texturing. So basically in the end I just… I’ve got this mess. Idk at least I know what to work on at home during the summer.
This does not in any way represent what I can do. This represents what I can do when I severely mess up. A lot. Idk I’m tired.

Finished the animation before realizing I messed up on rendering, now fixing that but here is a sample.

I fixed an issue with the box, weight painting the handle since I forgot to do so before. Also worked on fixing the animation.

I made a mistake in the final rig for the cranes so that the jaw and head wouldn’t work right, this was because I had point or parent constrained the head

I figured out how to fix the master control issue by simply unchecking the “inherits transform” box on the geometry. This resulted in the movement not being doubled for the geometry, so it sayed moving the same distance as the rig.
