Finished the crane, however due to the lack of a master control on any of the models, actually animating them in the main scene isn’t working properly. I’ve been looking into how to create one but am not sure on if I will be able to add one properly. May be too late anyways to complete the animation. Also Maya keeps crashing when I open a scene.

I’ve been working on rigging the crane, but multiple factors have made it annoying. Ive got the general skeleton made so now I’m working on controls.

I finished the mesh of the box with a button, and then proceeded to make a rig to open the box easily.

I worked on the crane head more in order to resize and fix some issues with the mesh. Started working on the eye to give it a light which would be visible on the eye itself when lights go off, using a glass covering to achieve this. Still some issues with it but it functions. Also added materials to all of the head.

Worked some on the cranes actual head, trying to make it seem like it has a face while also making it work as a crane. The eye is meant to have a light attached, though that hasn’t been completed as of now.

Mostly finished the box model, but since the design may change later and there is more to work on, it’ll be left unfinished for now. Added the button inside and some grooves in the sides.

Working on a team animation with the prompt “Don’t push the red button”, and have so far developed a plan involving robotic arms and a button inside of a box. I build a probably temporary main map, and am now working on the box. Working on making it able to “open up” as we planned.

Had less time today, but got the base of Artys landing done. Mainly looked at how to squash and stretch the ball using the controls given.

Animated the start of Arty being knocked down, with the main issue being that some changes between poses can be made smoother, but mostly it works fine.

Animated the step onto the X, while it isn’t finished and will still need to be smoothed, it gave an idea of just how much of the body needs to move for a single step.
