Learning to animate and model in Maya.

I’ve started working on texturing the scene in certain areas to get a look at the end scene, and was planning on working on lighting after. This proved to blind me so I am working on the lighting on the skulls. I’ve textured the 3 visible bones and a barely visible part of the back wall.
Sorry for the lack of images, its 1:59.
I’ve started learning to render with Redshift and have messed around with it for way too long. Still experimenting.
I missed a few days in class and planned to test a few rendering things at my house, but was unable to until now. Just started working on it and figured out how to assign a camera and such using my girlfriends penguin as a focus.
After texturing the roof I’ve started to create the little bits under the ledges, you can see the start of one near the top corner of the building.

After adjusting the door to fit the windows correctly, I started on building each roof and adding detail between the floors and windows. I then had to redo all of this due to a crash. Yay for practice?
I’ve got most of the buildings windows done and are now focusing on the door and the front stairs. Currently on the banister.

I finished the windows, adding them to 3 of the 4 sides, and then started on the door using the window.

Settled with the flower pot texture since the issue is based in the image, not the model. Now continuing forward. Finally.
